Water Filtration Systems
Get a Filter or Be a Filter.
Water filtration involves removing small particles like sediment, manganese, iron, chlorine and even gasses like hydrogen sulfide from the water. The filter traps these particles (in sizes as small as 10 microns), as water travels through it. Periodically the filter must be backwashed, so the unit has to be taken off-line and the flow of water through the filter is reversed. The reverse flow of water is directed to a drain and the trapped sediment is rinsed out. When completed, the filter is ready to work. Culligan Water Filters can be configured to solve any water problem. To learn more about water filtration, check out the Water FAQ page.
Benefits of Culligan Water Filtration Systems:
|
|
Your water comes from one of two places, a private well or a municipal water supply, making the water in every home unique. The EPA suggests that you check your well water annually. Water from municipalities travels a long way through new and old pipes before it reaches your home. A water main break may introduce contaminants into the water. Water from different wells may be blended. Your home may be on an older water main. The pipes in your home may add additional contaminants depending on the age of your home. That's why Culligan suggests a water test before we recommend solutions. Culligan has water solutions that are specifically designed to solve any water problem.
Rotten Egg Smell & Black Spots - Sulfur
The strong rotten egg smell of sulfur permeates the water from many wells across the country. Culligan has the technology to remove the sulfur to give you fresh tasting water. Call for a free water analysis to help us determine the right solution for your family.
Filter Cleer
Cloudy, hazy water gets that way due to sediment in the water. The Culligan Filter-Cleer water filter removes dirt, silt, clay and other types of sediment from your water supply. The Filter-Cleer is four filters in one. They work at different levels, stacked on top of each other, each removing a particular size of sediment particle.
Absolutely no cartridges to change or clean. The Filter-Cleer filter treats all the water in your house, not just from one faucet.
